Raymond Wayne Sosebee, 75, of Borger, Texas, and Ozark died Saturday,June 13, 1998, at his home in Ozark.
Son of the late A.B. and Mable (Alcorn) Sosebee, he was born Oct. 27,1922, at Hartman. He married the former Nina Jean McCallister on June9, 1945.
He was the owner of Sosebee Electric Company in Borger for 25 yearsand was a fromer member of the Borger Chamber of Commerce and ChamberAmbassador. He was on the Juvenile Board of Borger, served on theCity of Borger Building and Standards Committee and the board ofdirectors of Borger Country Club and was a member of the NationalElectrical Contractors Association.
A Navy veteran of World War 11, he also served with the ArkansasNational Guard in the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Nina Jean; a daughter, Mrs. Thomas J.(Dusty Lea) Lovell of Amarillo, Texas; two sisters, Artie Roberts ofFarmington, N.M.., and Buna Blanscet of Fort Smith; two brothers,Aubrey Sosebee of Borger and Leland Sosebee of Longview, Texas; andseveral nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2p.m. Monday at Shaffer Funeral HomeChapel, with Rev. Roger Glover officiation. Burial was at HighlandCemetery.
Pallbearers were Fay Cloose, Thurman H. Kirby, Horld Pickarts, WayneStock, John Watkins and Jack Witson, all of Ozark.
Honorary pallbearers were Rodney Demoss, Willie Ferguson, Roy Haley,Hugh Jackson, Bart Oxley and Charlie Whittington, all of Borger,Texas; Lester Horn, Clifton Mainard and Lonnie Turner, all of Ozark;Harold Wuest of Clovis, N.M., and Gordon Smith of Bartlesville,Oklahoma.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Methodist Church, 503West Commerical, Ozark, AR 72949 or the American Cancer Society.
