[95] Jeff was a farmer all his life. After Jeff and Tobitha moved toLavaca, Sebastain County, Arkansas next to their son, Velmer anddaughter- in- law Mae. Jeff and Velmer had a garden each yeartogether.
[98] Jeff and Tobitha raised their family on Pond Creek Mountain. >From thetime they were young children to 1947 they lived in the same area.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Shearer of Altus, route 1, are offering their farm,livestock, implements and household goods at auction next Monday at 10a.m., and will go to El Reno, Oklahoma, the following Thursday to maketheir home. They bought the JEFF BLANSCET place and moved there twoyears ago. The Shearers' daugher, Mrs. Robert Lessley Jr., and herhusband have already moved to El Reno. Mr. Shearer plans to return tohis railway job.

Their was held at their home in Lavaca, Sebastain County, Arkansas.From Ozark Specator newspaper: Golden Wedding For Jeff Blanscets. Mrand Mrs Jeff Blanscet of Lavaca, residents of Altus for 45 years, willcelebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary Sunday at a dinner and openhouse.
They are extending a blanket invitation to all their friends andrelatives in Franklin County to be with them for the big event.
Mr and Mrs Blanscet were married Sunday, October 31, 1904, at Ozark,by the late Judge Wells, and spent most of their life, so far on Route1 Altus.
Among those who will be present at the celebration are their twinsons, Elmer of Altus and Velmer of Lavaca, and another son, Ed ofAltus.

Funeral service for Taylor J. Blansett, 79 of Lavaca, former Altusresident, will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Altus Methodist Church.Rev. Early Storey and Rev. Gaston Mathews will officiate. Burial willbe at Liberty Cemetery, Altus, by Greer Funeral Home of Ozark.
Mr. Blansett, a native of Franklin County, died at a Fort Smithhospital Friday after a long illness.
Survivors include four sons, Eddy, rt. 1, Ozark, Elmer, rt 1, Altus,Velmer of Lavaca and Gene of Fort Smith; one daughter, Mrs. VeldaKielman of Denver, Colo.; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Wells of Chanute,Kansas, and Mrs. Rosie Hooker of Palestine, Ark.; one brother, H. B.Blansett of Magazine; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
