knowledge.
* She was born in the city of Ozark and lived there for several years.
* She attended grade school at Grenades Chapel school and at OzarkSchools.
* She joined Grenades Chapel Methodist church, along with her familywhen she
was 14 years old (September 9, 1921). The records indicate that she
transferred to Gar Creek.
* She transferred her Church membership, along with her family fromGrenades
Chapel Methodist Church to Gar Creek Methodist , 3 March 1929.
* She served as Church Secretary and Sunday School Secretary at GarCreek for
about 40 years. REF. Gar Creek United Methodist Church Records.
* Lived in Johnson and Franklin County, Arkansas all her life exceptfor a
brief period in Maze County, Oklahoma as a small child. She lived onthe same
farm in Franklin County, Arkansas from the time of her marriage untilher
death.
* She loved to sew and quilt and read. She made several quilts everwinter.
She did not care much for housework but loved to be outside.
* She was active in the same Home Demonstration Club from about 1931until her
death. She loved to visit with several special friends and neighbors.
* She was operated on for breast cancer in 1972. The cancer recurredin
December of 1976 resulting in her death.
* She died at Turner Memorial Hospital in Ozark, Arkansas. Her death
certificate is on file. CHA0034.
* She is mentioned in the obituary of her father republished in TheSpectator
on August 23, 1940 as Mrs. Raymond Edgin living in Ozark, Arkansas.
