Blansett, James T.
SHERIDAN -- A memorial service for James T. Blansett, 65, will be held later this summer.
He died April 28, 2006, in Westview Health Care Center in Sheridan.
He was born May 11, 1940, in Sheridan to James and Martha (Robb) Blansett.
He grew up and graduated from high school in Sheridan in 1958 and attended Sheridan College.
He spent the majority of his life working as an entertainer in various country nightclubs in the Montana and Wyoming area.
He was a lifelong fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Atlanta Braves.
He was an excellent artist, an expert on American history and a lover of country music.
Survivors include his sisters, Linda Grosso and Pat Tomsovic of Sheridan and Leta Kobielusz of Gillette and various nieces, nephews and their children.
