Pamela LaRue Blanscett, aka 'Rue', 60, of Midwest City, Ok, passed
Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Norman Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born

and her daughter Cynthia Ann and husband Ray Winder and grandson Jose Reyes Jr. of Midwest
City, OK.; Brother - Thomas Troy Blanscett Jr. and wife Shirley of Denison, TX, Sister -
Angie and husband Johnnie Crain of Denison, TX. Nieces and Nephews of Denison/Sherman, TX
area: Leann Nelson, Michelle James, Thomas Troy Blanscett III, Stacey Duncan, Mickie
Perry, and David Ray. And lastly 8 beautiful great nieces and nephews.
Rue experienced life to its fullest. She loved her gardening and her many hobbies. It gave
her great pleasure to create and paint her ceramics and design and make jewelry for the
special ladies that she swam with at Rose State College. She enjoyed traveling, camping
and seeing the many wonderful places across the United States and Canada. However, in her
later years her camping moved from the camp sites with tents and sleeping bags to hotels
with room service. She loved her family deeply and some of her fondest memories were her
monthly visits to Denison Texas when all the family would get together and eat, play games
and catch up on what was happening in everyone's lives.
Rue left a message for all her family and friends: Don't cry for me. Don't be sad that I
died. This life is over but I believe that another more important one will take me where I
need to go so I can become a better soul in my next life. Live your life each day like it
is your last. Appreciate one another and our differences. Peace and Harmony to all. Hope
and Joy. Share a Hug from me to you.
The family wants to express the deepest appreciation to all the professional people who
have cared for Rue these past months. The family also wants to express a special thank you
to all of Rue's friends for the support they have shown during these hard times.
A small memorial gathering for friends and family to reminisce about our fond memories of
Rue will be Tuesday, October 16, 2007 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Barnes and Johnson
Funeral Home located at 1820 S. Douglas Blvd. Midwest City, OK 73130, 405-733-2991.
